Insular South East Asia consultation on male to male transmision of HIV


SYNOPSIS:
Indonesia will host the First Sub regional Consultation on Men who have sex with Men (MSM) and Transgender populations (TG) and HIV in insular Southeast Asia. The goal of the meeting is to strengthen collaboration and networking between organizations and governments working on MSM and HIV in insular Southeast Asia and to plan for improved advocacy, better evidence, enhanced technical assistance to improve the quality of interventions, improved information sharing and possibly the development of a regional strategy on HIV and MSM. A conference report will be produced to document the results of the consultation and act as a guide for immediate action.
